In the FIFA World Cup 2022, a total of 8 teams have made it to the quarter-finals. Let’s know which teams will clash with each other and make it to the next round.

The FIFA World Cup 2022 has been quite exciting so far. Many big ups and downs have been seen in this World Cup. A top team like Belgium could not reach the knockout matches. Apart from this, in the group stage, many small teams have got rid of big teams. Out of the total 32 teams, 8 teams have made their place in the quarter finals. It includes teams from Netherlands, Argentina, Croatia, Brazil, England, France, Morocco and Portugal. These teams will compete with each other to make it to the next round ie semi-finals.

There will be a clash between these teams for the semi-finals.

The first match of the quarter-finals will be played between Brazil and Croatia on 9th December, Friday. This match will be played at Education City Stadium at 8:30 pm Indian time. Brazil is considered to be favorite in this match.
The next matches of the quarter-finals will be played on Saturday, December 10. In this, Morocco will face Portugal and Netherlands will face Argentina. The first match will be played between Netherlands and Argentina at 12:30 (AM) Indian time. This match will be held at Lusail Stadium. After this the second match between Morocco and Portugal will be played at 8:30 pm Indian time. This match will be played at Al-Thumama Stadium.
The fourth and last match of the quarter-finals will be played between England and France on December 11, Sunday. According to Indian time, this match will be played at Al Bayt Stadium at 12:30 pm. In this match, France is being considered as a contender for victory.

It is worth mentioning that earlier in 2018, France had lifted the FIFA World Cup. This time too, France is considered to be a strong contender for the victory. France defeated Poland 3-1 in the Round of 16 to secure a place in the quarterfinals.
