Provincial President of Madhya Pradesh State Employees Union, Surendra Singh Bhadauria, today submitted a memorandum to Mr. Mahendra Singh Yadav, former Chairman of State Seed Development Corporation and former Chairman of SADHAD, Mr. Jai Singh Kushwaha in Gwalior, demanding that as per the intention of the Madhya Pradesh Government, there should be 35 years age limit in all departments.
After service, fourth time scale/promotion is to be given to the employees of all the departments, but as per the order of the Director of School Education Department, Public Education, Bhopal, there is a ban on giving fourth time scale/promotion to assistant teachers and teachers.
The employees’ union says that the ban imposed by the Director of Public Education is injustice to the assistant teachers and teachers because it is clearly stated in point no. 1 of the order of the Finance Department that the one who has received the third time scale, will be given the fourth time scale. Will get the benefit of.
When lecturers and principals are being given the fourth time scale after 35 years of service in the education department, then why are assistant teachers and teachers being discriminated against. In the past too, both these categories were deprived of time scale.
The union has requested both the honorable that in order to provide fourth time scale promotion to the assistant teachers and teachers after 35 years of service, an order to this effect should be made from the Director of Public Instruction, Bhopal and they should be provided the benefit of fourth promotion.
Both the public representatives have assured to solve the problem after talking to the Honorable Chief Minister and Education Minister. On this occasion, many officials including Shri Nand Kishore Goswami, Pradeep Sharma, Pritam Singh, Suresh Kadam were present.
