Golden Barrett has enjoyed three seasons with German side FC Koln, yet has now chosen to continue on.
Ireland striker Amber Barrett could be on the transition to the Women’s Super League this mid year.
Barrett, who highlighted in Monday’s 9-0 World Cup win against Georgia is out of agreement at Bundesliga side FC Koln – and has dismissed another arrangement with the German side.
The Donegal local has an important choice to make, with a lot of interest coming from other Bundesliga sides, as well as clubs in the English first class and in Switzerland.
Barrett has been with Koln since her 2019 move from Peamount United – and has played in both the first and second levels of German football.
Last season she assisted Koln with solidifying their Bundesliga status.
In the mean time, Ireland goalkeeper Naoisha McAloon has broadened her agreement at Championship side Durham.
