Many schemes are being run for the citizens of the country by the government.
Among these, many schemes are for the welfare of poor people, while there are many schemes for farmers as well. Apart from this, many savings schemes are being run by the government for the employed people. There is also a scheme of PF among them. Through PF, the government inculcates the habit of saving to the working people. On the other hand, PF account holders can use this savings amount in retirement.
that’s the interest

Any employee contributing to EPF can check his account balance using different methods. They need not wait for the employer to share the Employees’ Provident Fund (EPF) details at the end of the year to find out the balance. Whereas for 2021-22, 8.1 percent interest is being given on this scheme.
This much has to be contributed
Under this scheme, every month the employee contributes 12% of his basic income to the PF account and the employer has to contribute the same. However, employees can contribute more through Voluntary Provident Fund (VPF). The rate of interest on VPF and EPF is the same. At the same time, to check the balance in the PF account or whether the interest has come or not, it can be checked online as well.
Check EPF Balance through EPFO Portal
EPF balance can also be checked in the passbook. EPFO portal can be visited for checking PF balance. Login to EPFO Portal. Then click on ‘Member Passbook’ there. Here the amount of PF interest earned as well as any PF transfer can be viewed.
